Each slide includes the pictogram, the full quotation, the character who says the quotation and the stave. Slides can be projected to revise quotations, or can be printed and displayed in the classroom. According to dual coding theory, imagery accompanied by words, enhances recall as two separate but linked memory traces are laid down, one in each of the memory stores.
